Fiona Macleod’s “The Immortal Hour” (2025)
Composed and recorded between 2020 and 2024, this is a work for stage with six musicians and six actors. The text was written in 1899 by Fiona Macleod, and was later used by Rutland Boughton as the text for his opera which premiered in Glastonbury in 1914.
This version is a completely new reimagining of the text and not related to Boughton’s work.
Music for Theatre & Dance (2021)
Recorded in 2021, these are eight instrumental works written for theater and dance companies between 1990 and 2004 and newly recorded for CD.
Most of the pieces were written in conjunction with The Modern Theatre of Myth based in New York.
Singles (2020)
Here are five singles released between 2019 and 2020. They can also be thought of as an extension of the style I was composing in Retro (2017)
The Persephone Quartets

This piece is written for violin, viola, cello and guitar, and is intended as music for ballet or modern dance.
